Kurzinfo: Flagfootball ist eine vereinfachte und kontaktarme Variante des American Football. Es wird grundsätzlich mixed gespielt. Das Spielprinzip entspricht dem des American Football: Ein Football muss in die gegnerische Endzone getragen oder darin gefangen werden. Beim Flagfootball ist Körperkontakt grundsätzlich verboten, allerdings ist auch nicht jeder Kontakt automatisch ein Foul. Alle Spielenden tragen einen Gürtel, an dem rechts und links jeweils eine lange, schmale Flagge befestigt ist. Diese Flaggen geben dem Sport seinen Namen.Um einen Spielzug zu stoppen, muss beim Flagfootball dem Ballträger eine Flagge abgezogen werden, anstatt eines Tacklings beim American Football. An diesem Punkt ist der Spielzug gestoppt und der nächste Angriffsversuch beginnt von dort. Ausrüstung: Bälle und Flags werden für den Kurs zur Verfügung gestellt
