Breakdance, also called breaking or bboy/girl-ing, is the most original and competitive form of hip-hop dance. It is often characterized by its highly acrobatic movements. But there is much more behind these incredible physical feats.
House dance originated in Chicago around the late 70?s-80?s. It is a dance characterized by freestyling, improvisation, and grooving/feeling of the music. House music is a type of electronic dance music with roots in funk, soul, and disco. In this class you will focus on freestyling and some choreographed pieces.
Equipment:
Comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring a sports/track jacket or pullover/hoodie
